Changes have been made to status code 3 and North Dakota has added a new code, status code 5.
Status Code 3 Change – Status code 3 is ‘Not Complete/In Progress: Locator has spoken with the excavator and made arrangements.’ When selecting this code, a locator is required to answer 5 questions. We are now allowing ‘TBD’ (to be determined) when answering the ‘Agreed Date’ question in lieu of a date/time format answer if no date/time is agreed upon between the excavator and utility.
Status Code 5 Addition – Survey Request Completed (As-built drawings, sketches and/or utility maps provided). – This option can ONLY be used by locators when statusing a survey locate request.
